Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Hardwick Primary School we value the abilities and achievements of all pupils. Our aim is to ensure that all children, whatever their need or disability, make good progress throughout their school life.

We work closely with parents and other agencies to ensure that the needs of each child are met.

In this section of the website you will find ‘Our School’s Offer’ which outlines the provision we make for our children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Further information on SEND provision from our local authority, Suffolk County Council can be found by following the link below.

How can parents/carers get involved?

Disability access

The school car park has a disabled parking space for visitors to use whilst on site and it can be used by disabled parents/carers for dropping off and collecting their children at the start and end of the school day.

The front entrance allows wheel chair access and there is a ramp from the school playgorund to the main building. Wide corridors and doorways cater for easy access and wheel chair users.

Please read our school's Accessibility Plan for details.
